About
Brief Bio
My name is Annette Johnson, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am an LA based composer, but I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I like to write music, tell stories, and when I'm not doing that, I like going on long hikes in nature.
I've done projects such as the "Roaring River" series by Tim Bass, "Asking for It" by Christy Lee Hughes, "Storytime With Dr. Jane Goodall - Giraffe Family", a Simpsons themed Pinball machine built by Marco Bucci, and even more! I also have experience writing concert music, including "Age of Invention" which was performed by Kaye Royer and the Odin Quartet in Toronto, and "Sanctuary of Stone" performed by the Helix Collective at Bandrika Studios in Los Angeles.

My music has been influenced by a variety of composers including Gavin Greenaway, Elmer Bernstein, Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Joe Hisaishi, Steven Schwartz, Alan Menken, and Robbie Robertson.
My Services
The services I provide include writing music for films, games, or other forms of media. I also provide creating professional mockups, orchestrating/arranging, and proofing scores. I mostly work in Cubase, but I have experience working with Logic and ProTools. And I also have worked with Sibelius and Finale. I take deadlines very seriously, and I put as much care and passion into my work as I possibly can. I love collaborating, and I love learning!

I should also mention I am a professionally trained singer who performed with the Santa Fe Opera back in 2010, and I am a violinist who played with the Albuquerque Youth Symphony program from 2006 - 2017.
